Services Terms & Conditions & Refunds Policy

Terms & Conditions:

  • All pricing is inclusive- no gotchas (Travel, setup, teardown, taxes, etc.) like some of the other guys out there!

  • Event must be in our service area (Southern California / Southern Nevada)

  • Date must still be available for Planet Parties.

  • Event location MUST HAVE AC POWER available within 30 feet of the setup location for Planet Parties. AC circuit must be at least a single 20A available circuit for a single sound kit, with an additional circuit available for each additional kit. Power for lighting is included in the requirement for sound. Photobooth Only engagements will need a single, dedicated 15A/120V circuit or portable power can be arranged through Planet Parties as an option.

  • Reservation must be made least 45 days from the Event Date.

  • 50% Retainer must be paid within 7 days of Reservation Date.

  • Remaining 50% must be paid at least 15 days prior to the Event Date.

  • Planet Parties reserves the right to deny any engagement.

  • All of us at Planet Parties hope you HAVE A GREAT PARTY!

Additional Terms & Conditions

  • Arrival - We will arrive ~2 hours before your event start time in order to have things ready to go by the event start time.

  • Departure - We will conclude our services at the event end time and begin packing up. For legal and liability reasons, we are unable to extend past the contracted event end-time. We will leave the venue after packing, loading, and saying goodbyes to anyone still around.

  • Attire -

    • Parties/Less Formal - Our normal attire is a khaki or black shorts and Hawaiian style shirt (summer/warmer) (and/or) black slacks and polo (winter/cooler) with sneakers. Ambient venue temperatures shall not exceed less than 60 degrees on the cooler side and 85 degrees on the higher side. We reserve the right to cancel services if the ambient environmental temperatures exceed these limits.

    • Weddings/Formal - Our normal attire is black slacks and a black or white button-down collar shirt (Please tell us which you would like). Black shoes with an athletic sole (We're working/standing after all). Ambient venue temperatures shall not exceed less than 60 degrees on the cooler side and 85 degrees on the higher side. We reserve the right to cancel services (AS A LAST RESORT BECAUSE OF THE FORMALITY OF THE EVENT) if the ambient environmental temperatures exceed these limits. Within reason, we will try work with what we have in terms of temperature.

  • Consumption of Event Food/Beverage - We are working, we are not your guests. If you offer us something, we may or may not accept it. What we're saying is, you don't have to spend money on a plate(s) for us. We realize that this is YOUR party and we are there to serve, not join in. :)

  • Outdoor Events - Rain, or other inclement weather may REQUIRE us to cancel services to your event. This decision is the sole responsibility of Planet Parties and is not debatable/challengeable. Refunds will not be given in such conditions. Remember when booking that unless you add Planet Parties provided, optional portable power to your event, either you, or the venue must have available power necessary to power the services you have contracted Planet Parties to provide. Again, if no or not enough available power is available, refunds will not be given.

  • Dancing- We guarantee our services will be of high quality. What we can't guarantee is that your guests will dance. Although we have hundreds of songs available, we ask that you provide a list of about an hour worth of songs- just in case. Requests can be made in real-time and we will either have them, or Internet willing- obtain them and play them at the soonest opportunity. There is no guarantee on requests as if Internet isn't reliable or something else unforeseen happens, we may not be able to accommodate the request.

Refunds Policy:

  • You are entitled to cancel your order within 30 days from the Reservation Date without giving any reason for doing so. We will simply wish you a good day, and we will part ways on good terms with our hopes that you will consider Planet Parties for your next event.

  • The deadline for canceling an order is 30 days from the Event Date.

  • In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement via email info@planetparties.net, snail mail (USPS), or text message (Anything that provides a paper-trail). Telephone calls are not supported for cancellation. We do this as a convenience to you in that we respect your decision to cancel and do not try to "convince you to stay" during a telephone call- unlike others out there. Just make sure that you're sure you want to cancel before doing so- otherwise our availability to service your event could be jeopardized.

  • We will reimburse you no later than 30 days from the day on which we are notified of your decision to cancel. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the order, and you will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

  • We reserve the right to refuse cancellations that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.

You are responsible for any delays of any kind when cancelling. This goes for snail-mail as well as electronic delivery. If you have not received a Confirmation of Confirmation within 48hrs- please reach back out to us- we follow the rule of "Effective communication isn't the ability to be understood, it's the inability to be misunderstood." So lets get this thing handled, shall we? :)

Gifts and Gift Cards:

If the goods were designated as a gift when purchased, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your cancellation. This will be marked in our system. You will not receive a physical copy of your credit.

If the goods weren't designated as a gift when purchased, The gift giver will receive the refund back to the original payment method.
